Designed for Carbureted Classic and Performance Vehicles, this Concentrated Additive Prevents Costly Repairs and Poor Performance Resulting from the use of Corrosive Ethanol-Blended Pump Gas or Flex Fuels
Driven's Carb Defender™ Fuel Additive is specifically formulated to protect against ethanol corrosion and induction deposits. Special corrosion inhibitors work to prevent expensive repairs and diminished performance caused by ethanol-blended pump gasoline and the moisture it attracts. High levels of ethanol dilution in motor oil can lead to rust and other corrosion problems in the fuel system and inside the engine. This new additive, however, controls combustion chamber residue, plus cleans and protects surfaces of the fuel system and intake tract. An 8 oz. bottle of additive treats up to 25 gallons of ethanol-blended gas, and should be used with each and every fill-up. Driven Racing Oil™ Carb Defender™ Fuel Additive keeps the carburetor functioning properly and is designed for the unique needs of classic vehicles that spend much of their lives in storage between cruises and special events.

I use Carb Defender in my 56 Vette with the 2X4 bbl. Carbs and, 40'Ford with Merc. Flathead, single 4 bbl. Both are responding very well to this additive. The Calif.gasoline and all the additives are hard on carburated motors. I am on my 2nd order and will continue using this additive..

I probably won't use this until I actually get the car out on the roads for some shows, and also over next winter when she's stored, just for protection. But it has a very well known name, and their shipping was instant, so I'll give a good rating.

I purchased the carb defender with the hot rod oil. Both products are amazing. I switched from Mobil 1 to HR4 in my 1979 Chevy C-10 with a 350 small block, and could feel the difference right away. Also I started using carb defender last summer, when I did my spring cleaning of my carb it was cleaner than its ever been.
I also use carb defender in my 2005 Mercury opti max Outboard, 135hp. works great there too.
